Best night of snowmaking so far. Perfect temps, low humidity, and no wind. Ran 5gpm for 3 hours and made feet of snow. 2 guns.

February 5th, 2016

Finally the temps are low and the stoke is high. Ive been waiting all week to fire up tonight. A misforecast resulted in a forecasted 1-3inches, which ended up with almost a foot of snow. Not complaining, but decided theres never enough snow. Packed everything down with the snowmobile and then fired up the guns. It looks really good.

First decent run in a while. Didn’t run for too long but used a lot of water. Ran 3 guns around 12gpm for 4-5 hours. Ran a manifold for the first time, as I think I may have a pinhole in the top hydrant. Waiting for daylight to go and look. Had an issue with a

Had an issue with a hose, where I’ve used the same hose on the bottom tower gun all season, and ive never been happy with the pressure coming out of the gun. After redesigning the gun and rebuilding it, I tested tonight and realized that the hose is somehow clogged, and its not allowing the adequate pressure through it. My only possible thought is that somehow a rock got inside, but is turned sideways and wont come back out. I made a quick fix to another hose I have and I was fine, but kinda frustrating that I didn’t realize how simple the solution was until tonight.
